A board and train is all about having us do the heavy lifting, while teaching you how to do the maintenance. If we compared dog training to a car, a board and train would be us building the car for you, the lead-up and drop-off lessons would be us teaching you how to change the oil, and the check-ins would be service appointments.
The hardest part of a board and train is not the training itself. That part's easy, it is our job after all. The hardest part is making sure you properly maintain and uphold the training that we instill in your dog. I want to make sure that, even though we are the ones doing the bulk of the training, you still fully understand what we did, how we got there, and why it worked, all so that you are 100% confident in maintaining it yourself after drop-off.
In our controlled, structured environment, we can make sure that your dog's entire world revolves around training. Its more than just a few random sessions scattered throughout the day; It is an immersion course for obedience, and the consistency is what makes the results stick long after they leave.
A trained dog with an untrained owner is asking for trouble. That is why we teach you everything. Lead-up lessons before drop-off. A detailed handover session. Check-ins, instructional videos, and lifetime text/phone support so that you always have someone to go to.
Unlike other places, there won't be a shopping list waiting for you after pickup. From leashes and training collars, to treat pouches and graduation mementos. Everything you need to maintain the training at home comes included in every training package, along with some extra goodies to commemorate their time here.
Most kennels in the Seattle area charge $1,500 to $3,000 per week, and your dog's time between drop-off and pickup is a black box. No lessons. No videos. No follow-up. No support.
Here, we do things differently. Not only do we handle pick-up/drop-off right at your home, we make sure the entire training process is as easy as possible. Take a look to see what we offer versus other trainers in the area..
